Madam, - Last weekend being a busy time for tourism in our nation's capital, I was bemused to see a blatant piece of misinformation on the Dart last Saturday afternoon. On my way northbound from Dun Laoghaire to Pearse Station, the new-fangled digital display in my carriage proclaimed the train to be a southbound Dart to Bray, and that the next station was Bayside. It remained like this for the entire journey.
Perhaps I should point out to non-Dublin readers that Bayside Dart station is well to north side of the city, and nowhere near Bray. With two fare increases in the past year or so, is this where our extra money is going - on pointless digital systems that don't work properly? And right in the middle of the St Patrick's Festival - well that's just sloppy. - Yours, etc.,
