Sir, - I note that your Letters page has had some objections to a front-page photograph (July 20th), related to the drowning tragedy in Belmullet. As someone who nearly drowned while playing with an inflatable bed and participated in the rescue of five others with, sadly, one tragedy, I feel it was an extremely healthy reminder for us all to respect the sea and to take great care while enjoying a wonderful resource. - Yours, etc.,
