Madam, – Congratulations to pharmacist Frank McAnena on his novel medication home delivery service to patients in Galway. (“The drug deliveries that could save lives”, Marese McDonagh, HEALTH Supplement, December 14th).
I have two elderly relatives who experience difficulties in managing their medication and as a result frequently end up in hospital, put their health at risk and accumulate a large amount of unused medication. Unfortunately, one lives in Limerick and the other in Dublin.
If they lived in Galway they would certainly avail of McAnena’s pioneering service. – Yours, etc,
