Madam, - Last week on the N4, I hit the bumper of the Toyota jeep in front of me while changing lanes at a speed of about two miles an hour. The damage done to the jeep was hardly noticeable.
The vehicle's owner rang last night and said that a Toyota dealer had quoted him €890 to repair the damage.
