Madam, - It is reported that Fianna Fáil has invited a rugby player, a psychologist and a best-selling author to address its forthcoming Cabinet think-tank, with a view to rubbishing Eddie Hobbs's successful TV series Rip-off Ireland.
Would it not make more sense for FF to invite Mr Hobbs himself to this meeting?
As they seem to assume he is a phenomenally successful con-man, would they not like to either (a) expose him as such, or (b) share a piece of the action? - Yours, etc,
ANNE CAHILL, Laurel Park, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
