Madam, - Maurice Neligan finished his column in last week's Health Supplement with the question: "Is the country governed by imbeciles or by a parcel of 'cute hoors' who think the rest of us are imbeciles?"
He missed the third option: that we are governed by a parcel of cute hoors who know there are enough imbeciles to keep electing them.
