Madam, - With reference to the amusing recent letters concerning the usage of the word "guys" in rugby-speak, I note Helena Joy (May 2nd) is convinced this is a Leinster phenomenon. Well, she obviously didn't reading the interview with Munster prop Marcus Horan in your Sports section last Tuesday.

Horan says: "You learn from playing against guys like Cobus [ Visagie, the Saracens prop]. He's a great character and a great servant to Saracens."

Could this be a case of guys, damned guys and statistics? - Yours, etc,
