Sir, - Why do people throw litter about in a disgusting way? They know that everybody hates it. Even animals hate it.
Recently, my mum and I were driving home from school when we saw a seagull with a plastic bag clinging to its feet. As he flew the bag acted like a parachute and prevented him from flying. He tried to fly higher to escape the cars but the bag pulled him down onto the motorway. As we watched in horror a truck hit him and he dropped to the ground and was killed. We were all crying.
Litter causes havoc. It is unsightly and dirty. Please stop it and protect the environment. - Yours, etc.,
