Sir, - As I continue to read letters about inter-church communion, I am saddened. Many Christians in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas are being persecuted and murdered today, yet I read of issues that ceased to be important decades ago in most parts of the Christian world.
A Bangladeshi Christian friend converted from Islam because she was impressed by the love, acceptance and forgiveness shown by Christians. I can assure your readers that for Cambodian Christians the theology of the Eucharist is not an issue. The issue is whether or not they will be permitted to practise their faith. - Yours, etc.,
