Sir, – Fine art auctioneer Ian Whyte is incorrect in believing that Michael Hanrahan will be the only living Irish artist to be represented in the British royal collection (Home News, June 30th).
In 1998 Nicola Russell presented Wild Irish Coltto Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle. She is very much alive and it was her painting of Istabraq which was unveiled at the Punchestown Festival by JP McManus in May this year. – Yours, etc,
