Madam, - Thanks for the giant photograph of Condoleezza Rice's legs illustrating your survey of world affairs in 2007 (December 27th). I couldn't really see what they had to do with the US elections, but I am sure you had your reasons for giving them more space than the whole article on Africa. - Yours, etc,
