Sir, – Two letters on the same day (January 4th) from Conan Doyle . . . Sherlock Holmes to investigate? – Yours, etc,
TOM GILSENAN,
Elm Mount,
Beaumont, Dublin 9.
A chara, – Fionnuala Mulcahy (“A Year of letters to the Editor”, December 31st) showed us the wide variety of themes and topics covered on the letters page during the course of the last year. As a very regular reader of The Irish Times, I am very surprised that I never seem to come across a letter referring to the rise in price of my daily fix. Is it that I have missed them? I’m sure that the reason I haven’t seen a single letter of concern at the increased cost of The Irish Times couldn’t be because of editorial bias or censorship. – Is mise,
DÓNALL Ó MURCHÚ,
Teach Pháirc an Tóir,
