Sir, - In response to Redmond O'Hanlon's letter (April 18th) about the litter problem on the banks of the Dodder in Rathfarnham, my class has decided to help clean up the increasing amounts of rubbish. We intend to clean from Pearse Brothers' Bridge to Rathfarnham Shopping Centre. This may take care of only a small portion of the extreme pollution the Dodder faces. The growing piles of plastics, cans and other rubbish will not disapper with a few groups' good intentions. We hope this letter has set an example for other groups. - Yours, etc.,
