Madam, - At the marvellous National Museum exhibition featuring bog bodies, I was alarmed to read that the archaeologists unearthing Old Croghan Man were subjected to "frequent attacks by swarms of merciless midgets".
Are these midgets confined to the wetlands of Co Offaly? Are archaeologists their only victims? Why have we not heard about this outrage before now? - Yours, etc,
