A chara, - Congratulations on your superb editorial, "Missed Deadlines" (August 6th). It outlined clearly and concisely the enormous difficulties of repatriation when there had been no effort at a healing process.
We have been working in Croatia and Bosnia since 1994 and are very disheartened at the slow progress of the Dayton Agreement. The women we work with have lost all faith in the Hague Tribunals and many are in despair. Sadly, the world's media have moved on to other troubled spots and people in general believe that once the war is over all must be well.
Please keep a highlight in the area; it needs it so badly. - Yours, etc.,
