Sir, - On Monday evening last, while awaiting the late arrival of an American friend from the Cork train, I watched Questions and Answers on RTE and heard a taxi driver explain why additional taxis were not needed in Dublin. Eventually my friend arrived, having queued in the rain for a taxi for 25 minutes outside Heuston Station, with upwards of 50 other travellers. "Ever thought of starting a taxi service in this town?" quipped he, through gritted teeth. - Yours, etc.,
