Madam, - I take grave exception to the headline on Miriam Lord's article in Thursday's edition: "Enda ditches dead wood as front bench gets a makeover". We in Fine Gael (and Enda Kenny in particular) are not dismissive of the dedicated and loyal service given by Jim O'Keeffe et aldown through the years.
They are far from being "dead wood" and there is do doubt that they will continue to serve the party in true Fine Gael spirit.
