Northern Ireland Agreement

Sir, - Truly there are differences between North and South. Today I contacted the Government Information Service in Dublin requesting 30 copies of the Good Friday agreement. I was told that there were only four copies remaining and that no more were to be published. I would have to find the other 26 copies elsewhere.

I then contacted the Northern Ireland Office in Belfast, explaining my difficulty. Without hesitation, I was assured that 30 copies of the agreement would be in the post that evening.

There are undoubtedly hidden benefits in North South co-operation, greater efficiency perhaps being one of them. - Yours, etc.,
