Sir, - In reply to Mr M. Walsh of the Eastern Health Board (November 12th) I would like to ask the following questions:
How many of the 809 Category I and the thousands of Category II patients "cleared" from the waiting list are presently under active treatment with fixed appliances?
How many of the above patients were dismissed by the EHB with no further appointments?
The supplement on the EHB said that all patients "cleared" from the waiting list had been treated, and this is definitely not the case. A frank reply from Mr Walsh would be appreciated, rather than the empty reassurance of his previous reply. - Yours, etc.,
