Madam, - In your edition of Friday, June 4th, I read about the Cork docklands plan, which includes policies for landscape protection, attracting residents, industries, retail business and new infrastructure. All this must be insured against catastrophes.
Global warming will cause a rise of the sea level and flooding of rivers. What kind of measures are planned concerning main dams, secondary dams, channels, lift-locks and flood barriers?
