Proof of their diligence has been reflected in the balance sheets of the banks. Staff accepted huge changes in work practices, early retirements, voluntary redundancies, etc.

The Bank of Ireland has achieved unprecedented profits on the backs of their customers and staff. The proposed job losses in this bank by compulsory redundancy stem from insatiable greed.
