Madam, - DL Kelleher's romantic, travel and poetic works were published in Ireland around the 1920s and 1930s. He was employed by the Irish Tourist Association, the forerunner of today's Irish Tourist Board.

He and his wife had no children but perhaps a relative in his own family or someone who knew him can tell me something about him and tell me where I can find a copy of some of his poetry. On a visit to Ireland a few years ago, I did find a copy of his book Ireland of the Welcomes.

I'm particularly interested in finding his poem "Shoes". When I was attending Loreto Convent in Stephen's Green in the 1940s, Kelleher, a friend of my father, David Barry, who also worked for the Irish Tourist Association, sent me a copy of that poem to recite at a feis in Dublin. The only line I remember is "and shoes for dancing on Dollymount Strand". I didn't do the poem justice, and I wasn't a winner at that Feis - or any other.

I would appreciate any help with the above query. - Yours, etc,
