Madam, - Last week you published articles about how an army of builders, plumbers and other tradespeople from Ireland were travelling to South Africa to build accommodation for homeless people in that country and that an Irish developer had donated an apartment worth €2.7 million to the same cause.
On Saturday, you published a front-page report that at least 50 homeless people in Ireland died during the past 18 months.
If ever there was a case for charity to begin at home surely this is it. - Yours, etc,
