Madam, - Having travelled to Cuba last year and having spent 2006-2007 cycling to work to avoid the Dublin bus system, I read with sentimental interest Tony Corcoran's letter on "Queuing, Dublin style" and Frank McNally's discussion of "St Ernesto" (both October 9th).
Queuing Cuban style involves approaching a queue (there is one for almost everything), asking "Qui ultimo?" ("Who is last?"), and then hopping in behind that person.
Bring on the revolution. - Yours, etc,
JANE BLACK, Leeming, Australia.
