Madam, – Would it be possible for the privileged occupations in society to reduce their exorbitant fees? I am referring to doctors, consultants, dentists and others. It costs €65 to visit my doctor and the fee will rise again soon. Without the PRSI contribution allowance, to visit a dentist is going to involve a loan, as dental prices are off the radar. If I have to go to see a consultant, my initial visit will be at least €160.
These people need to cop on and realise their greed will mean fewer people will be visiting their overpriced “rooms”. The average worker has taken hit after hit on his/her wages and these “professionals” keep hiking their prices! Give us a break.
