Madam, - I gather from Mary Raftery's column of August 14th that it's only Catholic organisations, and John Bruton, TD, who have objected to the two sex education booklets/quiz to 16-year -olds which the North Eastern Health Board had commissioned from the IFPA and planned to introduce as a constituent of sex-education in schools.
Is it safe to assume, then, that organisations attached to other churches which are concerned about the moral formation of their young children and teenagers are happy with the content and conclusions of these booklets? Or are they simply choosing not to comment? - Yours, etc.,
Mrs D. BOURKE, Lee Road, Cork.
