Sir, - Does The Irish Times not feel we are shocked enough to read about "smashed limbs strewn in scene of bomb carnage" without presenting the shocking image of a blood-drenched lady on its front page (July 31st). I consider it a form of violence in journalism when such images are thrust upon us without any warning or choice. My three-year-old daughter collected the paper from the porch that morning.
