Madam, - After a great deal of research, I have finally bought a digital camera. The model I settled on was on offer here at at most camera shops, and the asking price ranged from €240 to €280. I eventually bought it on the internet from Amazon-uk for £140 pounds (€208).
An Irish online store made a big deal of reducing the price of another model I looked at from €250 euros to €199. I could have bought it from any number of British online stores for £85 pounds (€126 euros). Mary Harney, please take note. The "shopping around" that you want us to do invariably means "order from abroad". - Yours, etc.,
