Madam, – Am I being completely naive or is the buzz phrase “corporate governance” just another way of saying management responsibility? If it is, how many of these “managers” who have reportedly misappropriated public monies have received the sack from their well-paid jobs? I suspect none.
If I were caught stealing from my company my feet would not hit the ground before I landed on the pavement, yet it seems these faceless people keep getting away with it. Where is the accountability, who is in charge and why have they not acted on our “the public’s” behalf? – Yours, etc,
