Sir, - I have just returned from my fourth trip around Europe and my third in Ireland.
As usual I thoroughly enjoyed my trip, however, it must be said that Dublin is the worst sign-posted city in Europe.
The confusion and frustration this causes to a visitor driving in Ireland is unforgivable, it's a wonder how residents tolerate this. Dublin is not a large city when compared to London, Munich and Milan and yet these cities are easy to navigate through even without the use of a map.
Please erect signposts in Dublin that will allow a driver to reach their destination.
It would be great to return to your beautiful country, however, until such times as the signpost issue is rectified I don't believe I could handle the trauma this causes. Yours, etc.,
