Sir, - Why are pubs in Ireland filled with second-hand smoke? If I want to smoke I can go out and buy the disgusting weed and poison myself unaided. Why do smokers have the right to pollute my air when I want to go out for a pint and some interesting conversation? Why do my clothes have to reek and stink of fags the next day?
Am I the only one who feels this way? Wouldn't people who want to breathe air while enjoying their favourite brew, distillation or soft drink flock to a place where they could do so without being gassed? Is there an intrepid entrepreneur out there who is willing to give our lungs a chance?
I look forward to the opening of "Murphy's Clean Air House", or "O'Rourke's Oxygen Lounge", or the "Breathe Inn". - Yours, etc.,
