Madam, - Whatever about our reluctant acceptance of the younger generation's adoption of Americanisms and the lingo of Friends, must we tolerate the same from our national radio station?
Many top broadcasters are now quite happily slipping into the same mode with words such as "movies", "store", "shopping mall", "sidewalk", "real estate", etc.
Like, O my God, can we not review a "film" as easily as a "movie"?
Might we be eligible to a vote in the coming US presidential election on the strength of this obsession? - Yours, etc,
