Madam, - In his Irishman's Diary of July 13th, Kevin Myers describes in poetic prose his love of vintage aircraft and how his happiness at attending an air show in Duxford was slightly dimmed because the restored Air Corps Supermarine Spitfire did not fly. I would like to bring a smile to his lips by telling him that if he attends the Irish International Airshow in Bray on August 21st he will see this very historic Spitfire "swooping through the summer sky".- Yours, etc,
