A chara - As the powers that be in the 26 Counties prepare to casually ditch Articles 2 and 3 and thereby effectively dump part of the national territory, I note that those organising the St Patrick's Day parade in Dublin have made witches, warlocks and wizards the chief focus of it. Talk about a perversion. Didn't Patrick dedicate much of his mission to driving out the dark, serpentine influence of those same agents?
Perhaps, in attempting to abandon the Ulster Irish, some in the 26 Counties are also intent upon insulting and abandoning the Christian legacy of Patrick. Hardly surprising, I suppose. After all, how could there possibly be identification with the national saint when he's buried in the North - the very territory no longer considered really Irish, apparently. - Is mise,
