Sir - I decided to take a bus to work (in rush hour) instead of the car from Deansgrange to Leeson Street for the first time in years. I waited for no more than 5 minutes and was in town in under 30 minutes, using the new Stillorgan QBC. Very impressive.
Alas, on my return journey I came a cropper. I had a £10 note and no change. I boarded the 46A bus and was informed by the driver that he could not accept notes. He suggested I disembark, get some change and wait for another bus. He then drove off. Very encouraging! - Yours, etc.,
