Sir, - In your Editorial of March 15th you point out, while comparing teachers' attitudes to the nurses's attitudes during their strike, that "the contrast with the manner in which the nurses dealt with emergency cases during their dispute is striking". Indeed it is. The nurses had no role model to imitate! Nurses who worked 48 hours of emergency care did not get one penny in payment for their efforts. Maybe The Irish Times might address one of its Editorials to solving this grave justice and seeking to rectify it, instead of holding it up as an example to be followed! - Yours, etc.,
