Sir, - In the four months since my previous visit to Dublin, the previously ubiquitous phrase "thanks a million" seems to have been completely wiped from the Irish vocabulary.
Why so? Are you all so rich nowadays that a million is meaningless? Thanks a million. Yours, etc.,
