Sir, - On Monday (April 9th), my three-year-old granddaughter, Phoebe Lyle, was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Spain. She has since been on a life-support system in a hospital in Oviedo.
On April 12th, I returned to Dublin from Madrid with Patrick, Phoebe's four-year-old brother, on Aer Lingus flight EI595 and would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Capt Pat O'Driscoll, air hostess Sharon O'Sullivan and all the crew on that flight for the love and kindness shown to us after this horrendous accident.
