A Chara, - If Tom O'Gorman (Nov 27th) wanted to respond to some of the criticisms of his previous letter then I have no idea why he didn't do so. I read and re read his letter and he had clearly failed to respond to any of the letters published.
Instead he once again took it upon himself to inform us that the Iona Institute only believes in marriage for a mommy and daddy and their biological children (children of homosexuals, adoptive parents and foster parents are out of luck).
Excellent, it's always good to be clear when it comes to discrimination.
I must admit to Mr O'Gorman that I have not read the institute's paper on domestic partnerships but as he had put domestic partnerships in inverted commas I have very little interest in doing so.
I truly hope that the Government in no way funds this Institute. - Is mise,
