A chara, - I have been wondering about Margaret O'Brien's letter of September 30th on the scarcity of letters from women in your Letters page. You certainly do not discriminate against women, as on the few occasions when I wrote to The Irish Timesmy letter appeared.
My own view is that most women are just too busy to find the time to write. I am amazed at all they can fit into the day - organising children, shopping, cooking meals, etc, as well as holding down jobs outside the home.
I think women would have a lot to contribute on various subjects as they often see things from a different perspective to men. - Is mise,
