Sir, - Isn't good quality toilet paper getting very dear? God be with the days when we cut the Universe into neat squares and hung it on a string on the back of the lav door. It was softness and holiness all rolled into one, and fluffy little puppies were never tempted to run off with it. It was also an opportunity to catch up with your reading, should it have been necessary to cut up the newspaper in a hurry earlier in the week. And all for sixpence. - Yours etc.,
Robert O'Sullivan,
Bantry, Co Cork.
