Sir, - "Childhood is the happiest time of your life" - so we tell our children.
Try explaining that to the little girls walking to school on Ardoyne Road, to the four-year-old child murdered on the hijacked plane in the US, or to the young boy photographed as he foraged for food on the streets of Afghanistan (The Irish Times, September 18th). Will nobody shout STOP? - Yours, etc.,
