Madam, - Isn't Sinn Féin unique? Not only has it attained a substantial degree of executive power in the North, it also has members elected to the Westminster Parliament; a representative in the European Parliament; MLAs at Stormont; TDs in the Lower House of the Oireachtas; numerous councillors on both sides of the Border, and now - thanks to Labour - it has acquired a seat in Seanad Éireann.
I suppose it can only be a matter of time before Gerry Adams is ensconced in Áras An Uachtaráin. - Yours, etc,
PAUL DELANEY, Beacon Hill, Dalkey, Co Dublin.
