Madam, - On a recent visit to glorious Leopardstown, I spied a loose horse in hot pursuit of an ambulance which was closely monitoring a steeplechase in which a band of fearless jockeys were risking life and limb as they endeavoured to steer their equally courageous horses over some quite formidable obstacles.
Thankfully, all the riders and their mounts crossed the finishing line in one piece.
Now, about that loose horse - would it be legitimate to describe him as an ambulance-chaser? - Yours, etc,
PAUL DELANEY, Dalkey, Co Dublin.
