Madam, - The Taoiseach has indicated that those earning "several hundred thousand" euro a year will have to pay third-level fees (Dáil Report, May 15th). I'd hate to see stud-farm owners and artists having to pay for their children's university education, so I appeal to the Taoiseach to clarify this immediately. Is this sum before or after income tax? - Yours, etc.,
