Every European capital has one or more elegant cafés that are considered an essential aspect of the city's heritage. Apart from providing sustenance and people-watching vantage points, they are places of history and of key events in people's lives; where friendships and relationships are made or broken.
Bewleys is vital for Dublin, it cannot be simply left to fade away. If necessary Bewleys should receive heritage support and funding. - Yours, etc.,
