Sir, - I was delighted to read Tom Woulfe's letter (November 16th) concerning the grant towards Casement Park, Belfast. Tom still retains his life-long interest in GAA affairs.
In the 1950s and 1960s it was due to Tom Woulfe's dedication that the infamous "foreign games ban" was eventually written out of the GAA rulebook (1972).
Thanks to Tom, our youth can now play all games. - Yours, etc.,
Rathdown Park, Greystones, Co Wicklow.
