Sir, – While An Post is to be commended for switching its delivery vans to electric vehicles I was surprised to note that these vehicles do not have reversing cameras. Our postman arrived quietly this morning and not even our dog heard his van arrive or depart. Surely these cameras should be added to these vehicles given the hundreds of times a day they need to reverse in people’s driveways.
