Sir, - Thank you for the article titled "Leaving Turkey off Europe's map makes no sense" by Mr Ersavci, in your paper on March 8th. I wholeheartedly agree with Mr Ersavci. Nations cannot be isolationist anymore. They have to align themselves with groups like EU or Asian, etc. in order to survive, especially if they are "developing".
If Turkey is not accepted by the European Union, it will be sucked in by Arab and fundamentalist nations, and that will be great pity. I know Turkey and Turks. They have a lot to offer.
I think we should pay less attention to the anti Turkish propaganda put out by the Greeks and the British, and let bygones be bygones. - Yours, etc.,
