Sir, - In recent times we have heard much criticism of clergy in Ireland. For this reason I would like to commend the wonderful work being done by two very capable and generous religious sisters.
The RTE programme Would You Believe? gave a wonderful testimony to the work being done by Sister Consilio in Cuan Mhuire to help alcoholics and drug addicts.
Another very basic human need is being met by Sister Stanislaus Kennedy in her work for the homeless through Focus Point.
In addressing the unhappiness and despair attached to homelessness and addictions these two women are playing a major role in many people's lives.
